Are you selling your home? Home Staging is the best way to get potential buyers to imagine themselves living in your home! 88% of homes that are staged sell (as opposed to the 12% that are not staged and often sit on the market for far too long). Krystin Krebs specializes in the staging of vacant homes in San Diego, California and the surrounding areas.
How does it work?
Schedule a One Hour Consultation: I will measure the space, and we will discuss demographics/ target market, style, color, art and accessories, and investment costs. I will then take measurements and begin drafting a floorplan based on your homes layout, come up with an inventory list of the items needed for your home, and set up a date to stage the home. I will then send you an estimate and a design contract for you to sign. Once approved, we can schedule the staging date.
On the Staging Date: I will use my exclusive resources to furnish your home including a mixture of furniture, art, and accessories to create a cohesive look to get your home sold! I will do this by arranging the furniture in an appealing way, highlighting the beauty of your home, I will style any bookcases and table tops with accessories, and hang art. Once I have completed this, we will walk through the home and take an inventory of all the items that were added to your home. Once your home sells, I will come back to the home and remove all the items we added prior to the close of escrow.
How much does it cost?
Prices can vary from project-to-project based on the scope of work needed. There isn’t an exact cost because every home is different and there are many factors that can affect the pricing - anything from location to floorplan layout, to square footage of the home can affect costs. (For instance, if the house is on a hillside, more than 50 miles from my storage locations, and there are three flights of stairs with no direct vehicle access, that will often mean additional labor hours because it will require more of our time, more of our personnel, and more equipment.) Additional costs/purchases would include the purchase price of of furniture, art, and accessories. All of these elements will be discussed in our initial meeting. Based on the evaluation of the house I will put together an estimate for your project after our initial design consultation.
