How to use Art to Create a Color Pallete

Creating a color pallete based on a piece of art is the easiest way to pick your wall colors, fabrics, drapery and other art in your home. If you are have a piece of art or are thinking of purchasing a piece of art that you love, base your color pallette around it. Sherwin Williams has a great program called Color Snap where you can upload a photo of the art you want to use and it will pull leading colors in it to create a color pallette. I suggest you have 5 lead colors (not including neutrals: white, black, grey, beige) to create your color pallete.
